There is a common saying, which states that when wealth is lost, nothing is lost, when education is lost, something is lost, but when health is lost, everything is lost. After reading this statement, one thing is for sure, health is not something that should be trifled. Throughout the course of history, mankind has witnessed plentiful examples of precarious situations where a person, despite his fame and power lose the battle with health. People spend thousands of dollars just to buy a second of life, and that too fails numerous times. In most of the cases, health is directly linked with the food that we consume. For instance, if a person does not consume a balanced diet comprising of all the necessary vitamins and minerals, then he is one step closer to death.
Eating hygienic food is important, but what’s more important is maintaining your balance of proteins and vitamins while you are traveling. It does not matter whether you are traveling for a week or for a month, if you are not able to maintain your food composition, then it is bad news. Many people seem to underestimate this fact, and as a result, they are left with painful memories on their way back home.
Many people come to Nepal to witness the magic of the Himalayas, and to take a taste of the peaceful environment that prevails in the silent mountains. You can call it an information deficit or simply ignorance of facts, but tourists don’t seem to take much of an interest in Nepali cuisine. In recent years, there has been a burst in the number of tourists visiting Nepal and a large number of them are taking an interest in Nepali food.
